Every Coach Bag Line: Compared One by One
Coach was set up in 1941 to make men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags arrived later before growing into the core of the brand. Now, coach handbags stretch from tailored shoulder bags and relaxed hobos to satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and reissues from the archive. One line at a time, this overview covers what each key bag is, when it arrived and how it is made. Wherever a launch date is documented, it is included; several familiar lines, however, have no reliable launch year on record.
Instead of reflecting an official price list, the prices in this guide are observed market prices from 2026, and size, material and promotions can all change them. If you are shopping for your first coach bag, it is useful to realize that similar names can describe entirely different designs. Some shoppers search online for a Coach bag by typing „couch bag”, which can pull furniture listings into the results, since the word also refers to a sofa.
The Tabby Family
The Tabby is a neatly structured shoulder bag that can also be worn crossbody, finished with detachable straps and Signature „C” hardware. Designer Stuart Vevers unveiled it in 2019, and its shape comes from Coach’s 1970s archive. Its launch campaign, „Dream It Real”, was reportedly lensed by photographer Juergen Teller. Retail listings have featured sizes 20, 26 and 36, whereas the main product name is Tabby Shoulder Bag.
Then, in 2021, the softly padded Pillow Tabby arrived, listed under names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. On the US market the Tabby 26 was observed at $475, and in the UK at £475; quilted and special-edition versions sat higher. Because it switches easily between shoulder and crossbody wear, it works well for buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.
The Brooklyn Family
Made in natural-grain leather, the Brooklyn is a relaxed coach shoulder bag that is far designer handbags closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. Having appeared on the Fall 2024 runway, it went on sale in August 2024. The Brooklyn 28 and the roomier Brooklyn 39 stand out as the two main sizes that have been reported. The 39 is described as spacious enough for a 15-inch laptop, which makes it a practical work bag.
A newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026, and it is not the same bag as the shoulder styles. At John Lewis in the UK, the Brooklyn 28 had an observed price of £350. The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said that searches for Coach had climbed 160% and named the Brooklyn among its examples; that figure, however, tracks searches rather than resale prices.
Rogue
Made with top handles and a shoulder strap, the Rogue is Coach’s structured take on the satchel. Having debuted on the Fall 2016 runway, it was later discontinued and later returned in a 2021 relaunch. The line sits at the very top of Coach’s leather range, with versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. With an observed price of $8,000, a Rogue 25 in alligator carried the highest Coach bag price observed in 2026.
Coach also provides a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken around 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. Restored Rogue bags have appeared through Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program. The Rogue demonstrates, to plenty of collectors, how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.
The Empire Carryall Line
The Empire Carryall, offered as the Empire Carryall Bag 34, has an elongated, east-west top-handle shape. It was presented on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway and put on sale in February 2025. Fashion press reports said, it sold out on the day of its release. Softer variants, sold as Soft Empire and including a Soft Empire 40, stand apart from the structured Carryall 34.
The Empire Carryall 34 was observed selling for £475 on Coach’s own online store in the UK. With its long top-handle shape, it makes a more polished alternative to a coach tote bag for everyday carrying. Because 34 and 40 are different bags, anyone comparing listings should look closely at the number after the name.
Kisslock: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Coach associates the Kisslock motif with the Bonnie Cashin era; the name refers to a frame clasp based on vintage coin purses. Take care not to mix up the several bags that share the word. The Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was reported as the first look shown at the Fall 2026 show with an observed price of $350. Earlier Kisslock Frame versions also show up in listings, so the family may predate that show.
The Kisslock Dreamer 21, with quilted nappa leather and rivets, is an older style now seen largely as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved. For its Spring 2026 season, Coach Originals revived a 1973 design as the Kisslock Barrel Bag. The name found yet another use as a Kisslock Backpack was also shown for Fall 2026.
Swinger and Swing Zip: Inside The Coach Originals
The Coach Originals is a line of newly made reissues of archive designs, so its bags are new rather than vintage. According to Coach, the original Swinger design dates from 1987; the bag is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag fitted with a turnlock. Today’s version is the Swinger Bag 20, also offered With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. The Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag drawn from a 1998 design, so the two names are not interchangeable.
Other Originals reported in early 2025 took in the Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005. It has been reported that the Coach Originals name was already in use by 2020. For shoppers who want an archive look without the wear of a truly vintage piece, the line is a good fit.
The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
Covering three different products, Soho is among the trickiest names in the Coach catalog. The original Soho Flap was first released in 2006. The Soho Bag 25 is not that 2006 bag but a newer, smaller reissue offered in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard. There has also been a listing for a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather, with Soho styles forming part of The Coach Originals.
By contrast, the Soho Sneaker is footwear that Coach has featured in 2025 and 2026, which places it alongside shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To separate the bags from the shoe, add „Bag 25” or „Flap” to your search. No reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, so consult Coach’s own website before buying.
Willow, Cassie and Juliet Side by Side
View any launch date you see online with caution: these three lines are well known, but none has a documented launch year. A Willow Bucket, a Willow Shoulder bag and the Willow Tote 24 have all appeared in Willow, a pebble-leather family. Coach’s own website has also listed a Custom Willow Tote, and the Willow Tote 24 is a straightforward example of a coach tote bag. Offering a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 is part of Cassie, a crossbody and top-handle design.
Cassie styles have continued to be listed on Coach’s own website under newer style codes. Juliet is a slouchy shoulder bag in glovetanned leather, available in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Because availability changes by season, check whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current before relying on an older review.

Outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website form Coach Outlet, which is Coach’s own official channel. About 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel, according to a 2014 quote from Coach’s head of investor relations. That figure is now dated, and Tapestry has since spoken about bringing some full-price collection product into outlets.
